Henry H Chang

Henry joined the team at Silver Creek in January 2016.  He works on the development and application of biochemical and cell-based assays for the characterization of Silver Creek’s Smart Growth Factor (SGF) therapies for regenerative medicine. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley for elucidating molecular and biochemical aspects of protein trafficking in red blood cells by the parasite that causes the most virulent form of human malaria and then conducted his postdoctoral studies at the University of California, San Francisco and the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research to understand herpesviral infection of endothelial cells in Kaposi’s sarcoma.  When Henry is not in the lab, he is enjoying the epicurean delights of the San Francisco Bay Area.
