Tim Stowe

Tim has been with Silver Creek since May 2013.  He works on the pharmacological characterization of Silver Creek’s protein therapeutics and plays a key role in the design and execution of efficacy studies. Tim received a PhD in cancer biology from Stanford University and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he worked on cell-based therapies for neurological disorders

Before settling on a career in biomedical research, Tim played guitar in a punk band, studied the floodplain ecology of the Okavango Delta in northern Botswana and worked as a mental health assistant in the psychiatric unit of a community hospital. Although less frequently these days, he still finds time for some occasional power chords.
